For as long as schools are closed, we’re open. Starting today, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids.  All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet.

From Scholastic.  Pairs a picture book with a nonfiction companion. Books also come with games and other activities.

Storyline Online by the Screen Actors’ Guild

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s award-winning children’s literacy website, Storyline Online, streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations. Readers include Viola Davis, Chris Pine, Lily Tomlin, Kevin Costner, Annette Bening, James Earl Jones, Betty White and dozens more.

Stimola Live

Stimola Live is a website of live stream events for kids, tweens, and teens by professional authors and illustrators represented by Stimola Literary Studio. Check out the times for upcoming authors.

Oxford Owl is an award-winning primary platform developed by Oxford University Press. Story Preservation Initiative

Story Preservation is working in collaboration with master storytellers to bring timeless fictional stories – fairytales, myths, folklore, and contemporary tales of enchantment – into K-3 classrooms.
