Scratch is a computer programming language specifically designed by the MIT Media Lab for elementary aged children. It is easy to use and very powerful. The students will learn the skills to create dynamic and interactive computational media projects such as animations, games, and stories. The goal is to foster a Scratch community where the students can help each other and learn from each other. The club is for grades 3-5.

At each Lego Club we will discuss a theme to encourage creativity. Each child will receive a cup of Legos to work with at the cafeteria tables and to share among friends. At the end of the session, we will rejoin to share creations with the group. We also photograph the creations so families and friends can see the projects. Location: Willard Cafeteria
